On June 7, 2023, the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) and Bouygues Construction, one of France’s foremost engineering groups, signed a strategic partnership agreement to manage the construction of the resort and the International Summit Centre, both designed by Jean Nouvel in the heart of the Sharaan nature reserve in AlUla.

This is a far-reaching partnership that reflects our shared ambition to develop projects at AlUla that are designed to work in synergy with the site, with absolute respect for its history and landscapes, its biodiversity and its territories.
